Rose season is upon us, and walks around the neighborhood have become slow and time-consuming, because I need to stop and smell–and photograph–the roses.
Portland is famous for its roses. They grow like weeds here, even the most neglected plants putting on a show in late May and early June.
Perfect for a little love and sensuality magic.
This harvest of roses, sage flowers, vervain leaves and rosemary is going into an experimental concoction. It’s the kind of magic that takes patience, and I hope it will be worth the wait.
On the other hand, this is the time of year when everything grows at an astounding rate, which means it’s the best time for making smudge sticks. I made a batch of new smudges yesterday–a consecration blend, a love blend, and an all-purpose green magic blend–which will show up in the shop on the full moon.
And speaking of the next shop update, there’ll be some more custom offerings available as well. Can’t wait to show them to you all!
