Going Forward

After some time away from the shop and this website, I realized I don’t really want to try to sell my handcrafts right now. Producing objects for sale always seems to take the magic out of the process for me, replacing it with anxiety and frustration. That isn’t what I want for myself or my work!

I know I’ll continue creating: I need to, after all. And I’ll continue offering my patterns and tutorials on Ravelry and Etsy. But my other items will gradually disappear from the Etsy shop as the listings expire. I’ve reopened the shop, but nothing new will be added except for the occasional pattern or tutorial.

And I will no longer be updating this blog. Going forward, I’ll be blogging at A Witch’s Path, and sharing pagan links and such on A Witch’s Path on Facebook. Hope to see you there!

  1. I’ve come to the same conclusion about selling my work on line. (I’m a crafty tale on etsy/instagram). Partly for the pressure and the stress of it but mostly for feeling that I have to promote myself on instagram and facebook. That same feeling has influenced weeding my instagram account of people who seem to mostly be there to promote their work. I love instagram because I want to see other peoples corner of the world and to see how they live, not buy their product. I look forward to following you on your new blog and on instagram.
